Protective Cover for rEvo Backplate / Lid
The rEvo is one of the most established and powerful rebreather systems in technical diving. Especially during cave, wreck, and expedition dives, the system is often used under demanding conditions. The distinctive yellow backplate, which also serves as the housing lid, is constantly exposed to mechanical stress.
This precisely fitting protective cover was developed specifically for this sensitive area. It reliably protects the original rEvo backplate from scratches, abrasion, and impacts that can occur during cave diving, when setting down the unit, or during transport.
The cover consists of two precisely fitting elements that are securely held on the backplate by bungees. This ensures that the construction remains reliably on the unit without slipping or restricting the function of the lid. Opening, closing, and regular handling of the system remain fully intact.
The cover fits snugly on the lid and adds only minimal bulk. Especially in narrow passages, contact with rock, or frequent use, it helps to keep the original component in good condition for a long time and significantly reduce cosmetic damage.
