Protective Case for Shearwater NERD 2
The Shearwater NERD is a specialized heads-up display designed for technical and rebreather divers. Since the unit is mounted directly within the diver’s field of vision, it remains constantly exposed during use. Reliable protection is therefore essential — without compromising visibility or function.
This custom-fit protective case is designed to slide over the entire base body of the Shearwater NERD, fully enclosing the housing with a secure, form-fitting design. It effectively protects against impacts, scratches, and abrasion that may occur during mounting, transport, or demanding dive operations.
Around the optical section, the case is intentionally kept slim to ensure that the field of view remains completely unobstructed. The clarity of the display and the natural viewing experience are fully preserved — a critical factor for HUD systems.
The material fits tightly, does not shift during use, and provides additional mechanical protection in harsh diving environments.

This case is not compatible with clamp mounting systems.
It is designed exclusively for threaded mounting configurations.
